00:00The Department of Labor and Employment, or DOLE, has gathered with all private sector employers.

00:06In addition to the 13th month pay, according to DOLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma,

00:11the release of the 13th month pay should not be delayed by the private sector until the December 24 deadline.

00:20It is better if the mandatory benefits will be given as early as possible to avoid the holiday rush.

00:27Also, their budget for their receivable money.

00:31According to the Labor Code of the Philippines and Presidential Decree No. 851,

00:36all employees should be able to pay the 13th month pay regardless of their position, designation, or employment status.

00:47They should also be able to receive benefits from all employees,

00:51even if they are on a fee-rate basis, fixed, or have a guaranteed wage plus commission,

00:57as well as those who have multiple employers, those who have resigned or terminated,

01:02and even those who are on maternity leave and received salary differential.
