Have you noticed a deterioration in the state of our country’s roads over the past few years? With nearly 2 million potholes reported last year, do you think the extra £500 million pledged by Labour is enough to tackle the issue?

00:14I drive and I cycle, but I would prefer to cycle. Yeah, there are definitely lots of

00:18potholes and lots of roadworks, which is confusing. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, 100%. And yeah, because

00:27I live in Bedminster and definitely I've noticed a lot more potholes. But then generally just

00:32kind of work being done on the roads at the same time. So it makes it really difficult

00:36to get around. And yeah, it's been a bit of a nightmare this year, actually. Yes, definitely.

00:41As a cyclist, I noticed that there are some areas of Bristol that just don't get any,

00:45any attention. They feel like they're completely neglected. The fixes that do come also don't

00:51seem to last very long. They seem to be worse. Even after something gets fixed, it seems

00:56to be broken again by a year's worth of cycling.
