The Ministry of Health on Monday provided an epidemiological update on Dengue cases in the country.

00:00The Ministry of Health today provided an epidemiological update on dengue cases in the country.

00:07The ministry says there are 2,004 laboratory-confirmed cases of dengue fever and 19 laboratory-confirmed

00:15deaths.

00:16It also says in a statement as at last Friday, 1,326 yellow fever notices were issued to

00:24property owners and occupiers, directing them to clean up their surroundings.

00:29Of these, 83 have been identified for the consideration and or institution of legal

00:35proceedings for non-compliance.

00:37The ministry of course advises anyone showing signs or symptoms of dengue fever to seek

00:43immediate medical treatment at their doctor or the nearest health facility.
