05:10I think that there was a voice in me that said it behooves me almost to tell a story
05:15like this because it is one that's not just very thrilling and visually stunning and,
05:22you know, an ode to the legendary and unsung freedom fighters, all of which is true.
05:28But it's also, I think, the kind of film that has lessons that are extremely relevant even
05:33today.
05:34The movie also, like, it shows a lot of young people being able to bring about actual change.
05:42Could you talk a little bit more to that point?
05:44I think the youth is the pulse of the nation and I think that as the youth of the country,
05:49it's very important for us to see merit and value in raising our voices when it's needed.
05:56I know as an actor, and on a personal note if I can say so, I had started getting very
06:03comfortable in my bindas, loud, gregarious exterior.
06:07I didn't know that there is a sensitive side in me because I'd silenced it for so long.
06:12I'd forgotten that actually I am a girl that rides on conviction.
06:17I am a girl that has a voice.
06:19I am a girl that is sensitive.
06:21I am a girl that is strong.
06:23I am a girl that feels a duo-dye spirit.
06:25I am somebody that's ambitious, that has dreams, that has aspirations.
06:29And I think playing Usha Mehta's character, I was reminded of these aspects of my own life.
06:36So as far as change is concerned, that's already happened.
06:38I already look at myself differently.
06:40And I think that if the soul of the film and the theme of the film, which is truth, courage
06:48and bravery, evokes something in even someone, that's more than what most films do nowadays.
