A 43-year-old man was detained in Kuala Lumpur in connection with allegedly abusing a cat. 00:27An individual who saw the video had lodged a police report on Saturday.

00:32The case is classified under Section 29 of the Animal Welfare Act 2015.

00:38The police report and the video has been referred to the Kuala Lumpur Veterinary Department
