Shelter Pups Go Trick-Or-Treating

These shelter dogs love Halloween but they can't wait to meet their forever families!

00:00Our volunteer staff got together, bought Halloween toys, costumes for all of our shelter animals.

00:20Trick-or-treat kind of thing where they go play together.

00:23Fun time at Stray Rescue, lots of wagging tails and a bunch of happy dogs.

00:40We try to make their time with us as happy and memorable as possible before they go on to their

00:48forever homes. We do have over 100 animals that live at our shelter and close to 400 in foster

01:02homes. This really brings it home that there are animals in the city of St. Louis in need.

01:10Just to be able to do something like this every now and then,

01:20making it a little bit better for these guys who have seen the worst of the worst.
