00:00By the time the new year comes around, there will be four full months and a bit left of

00:08this season. He's got to make use of it. That's not trying to put pressure on him to start

00:15every game and be a regular starter or scorer, but he's got to make use of these months.

00:20If these months play out and it's just muscle injury after muscle injury or touch wood,

00:25something serious doesn't come up again, then you really, really, really fear the writings

00:29on the wall. I think, again, trying not to be too knee-jerk here, but yeah, just hopefully...

00:35Yeah, he's still around to just keep them now, regardless of injuries, you know what

00:38I mean? You talk about resale value and it's on for £7 million, they're probably not,

00:44unless he has... I've just looked now, he is out of contract in 2026, so he's got just

00:48over 18 months left.

00:50Well, there you go then, yeah.

00:52So, you know, even at this moment in time, if he was firing, his value wouldn't be as

00:57much as it was if he had three or four years left on his deal. It's going to be a case

01:00of, yeah, spend that money, it's going to... just have to suck it up and hope he gets back

01:06and does really well.

01:07Well, that's a massive point then, isn't it, for what we're on about there? You talk about

01:11what we're getting on soon for the midpoint of the season, won't we? And then next summer

01:16is entering his final year. I mean, that's... it's zoomed around, hasn't it, sadly? And

01:22he's been kicking his heels and stuck the whole time. So, it makes the final months

01:27of this season absolutely imperative that he can just stay free of any more serious...

01:33any further serious issues, any more sort of six to eight week delays like this one.

01:37Yeah, yeah, we're told, you know, the odd muscle ones likely after not... but he can't

01:42keep going, obviously. So, really, really needs to be able to take advantage of these

01:47final few months of this season, hopefully.
