00:13In a hearing of the House Blue Ribbon Committee, One Rider Party List representative Rog Gutierrez pointed out some questionable receipts that were part of the classified documents of the disbursement officers of DepEd and OVP.
00:26In particular, the 37.5 million pesos land bank check that was cashed on February 21, 2023.
00:35The next day, DepEd was able to distribute the said amount to several places in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao as a purchase of their supplies.
00:45This was followed by a series of fund disbursements that OVP could not explain what the funds were used for.
00:52As expected, the disbursement officers of VP Sara Duterte and OVP President Gina Acosta and Edward Fajarda of DepEd did not show up at the hearing.
01:04The camera also arrested several OVP officials who refused to appear at the hearing due to the lack of explanation of the use of government funds.
