00:00I'm proud to announce the United States is pledging $4 billion over the next three years
00:06to the World Bank's International Development Association.
00:09As my friend, Ajay, told you, the IDA is the first responder to the world's poorest countries.
00:16I encourage everyone around this table to increase their pledges in December.
00:22In addition, we have to mobilize private capital at scale.
00:27I'm proud of my country's work on this front, including mobilizing $60 billion
00:32through the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment.
00:35That partnership will be a game-changer for food security,
00:40especially in the libido corridor in Africa.
00:43And I want to note, all creditors must play a role in my agreement.
00:48And finally, we all have to work to end the conflicts and crises
00:53that are eroding progress in food security around the world.
00:57Ukraine. The United States strongly supports Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
01:02Everyone around this table will, in my view, should as well.
01:06And by the way, Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine led to the highest record food crisis in all of history.
01:13And Gaza, as I've said before, isn't as erected to defend itself
01:18after the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
01:21How it defended itself, even as Hamas cooled the highs among civilians, matters a great deal.
01:27The United States has led the world in humanitarian aid to Gaza.
01:35And we're going to keep pushing to accelerate a ceasefire deal
01:40that ensures there's a security that brings hostilities home
01:43and ends the suffering of the Palestinian people and children.
01:47I ask everyone here to increase their pressure on Hamas,
01:50which is currently refusing this deal.
01:53And on Sudan, we're seeing one of the world's most serious humanitarian crises.
01:59Eight million people on the brink of famine.
02:02This deserves our collective outrage and our collective attention.
02:06External actors must stop arming the generals and speak with one voice
02:12and tell them, stop tearing your country apart.
02:15Stop blocking aid to the Sudanese people.
02:18Stop the violence.
02:20Let me close with this.
02:21As you know, this is my last G20 summit.
02:25We've made progress together, but I urge you to keep going.
02:28I assure you will, regardless of my urging or not.
02:31This group has within its power to usher in a new era of sustainable development.
02:38To go from billions to trillions in assistance to those in need.
02:45This all may sound lofty,
02:47but this group can lay the foundation to make that achievable.
02:51Thank you very much, and I look forward to the rest of our discussion.
