00:08the iconic character from the Japanese horror franchise The Ring, with Brazilian cultural
00:12influences. This trend is an extension of the earlier Brazilian Miku meme from June 2024,
00:16which featured depictions of Hatsune Miku as Brazilian.
00:19On October 19th, Twitter artist Lughost significantly boosted the trend by sharing
00:24their rendition of Sadako with Latina traits, amassing over 15,000 likes and 60,000 retweets.
00:29Following this, other artists have contributed their own versions of the character. So the next
00:33time your TV flickers and a long-haired figure emerges, don't be scared, it might just be
00:37Brazilian Sadako.
