00:00Have you seen Jamar's target route chart from the Baltimore game?

00:04Sure.

00:05Yeah, what's that look like to you, all of those?

00:09We're moving around.

00:10Yeah.

00:12I think that's a credit to him, how smart he's been this year,

00:15understanding when he's in the slot, when he's in a stack, when he's outside,

00:21when he's in the backfield, and a credit to our coaching staff for

00:25coming up with all these different ways to find him, find ways to get him the ball.

00:29I think he's really taken a step this year as far as understanding zone coverage,

00:34understanding what his job is, and all these different little details on these routes.

00:42I think he's just continuing to get better, as crazy as that sounds.

00:48Is that kind of the perfect example of what a masterpiece of how Jamar can be used,

00:54should look like that maybe you guys have been building towards really maybe even

00:57since you've ever been playing with him as a game to look like that chart a little bit?

01:02Yeah, that's when teams wanna try to take him.

01:05I mean, if we're doing that and moving him around, teams can't take him away.

01:09Just finding ways to get him the ball in so many different situations.

01:13And when we're moving around like that, teams can't just focus in on him and

01:18say we're gonna cloud this side, we're gonna double him.

01:21And when we play man, you just always gotta be aware for where he's at.

01:26Our coaches and Jamar are doing a great job of doing that.

01:28How does that Jamar retro work?

01:31Zach was telling us he kind of made up in the dirt a little bit.

01:34How does that work in terms of it coming to you, you realizing what it is, and

01:37then translating it to Jamar to pull off that play in that moment?

01:42Yeah, it was a great call based on what we had been getting on that two minute drive.

01:50And Jamar, when he gets contact, he's so strong he's gonna pull out of it,

01:53whether he gets held or not.

01:55And yeah, that's a base play that we've repped,

02:02that maybe wasn't in the game plan, but you can pull out at any moment.

02:05And that's what you have to do if you wanna be a great offense or

02:11a great player, not everything you call is gonna be on the call sheet for

02:16that week or even repped that week in practice.

02:20You might see the way a team is playing you and

02:24pull from something that you guys ran three or four weeks ago.

02:27And you're like, hey, that's good, let's bring it up.

02:29So credit to our staff for that.

02:31So why do you think you guys have been able to access the intermediate deep middle

02:35with Jamar somewhat more effectively this year?

02:38It seems like that's been a big area that you guys have found and

02:40found a ton of success in that wasn't necessarily a big part of it for

02:43the last couple of years.

02:44I think the protection, number one, we've found a lot of,

02:50we're not just a six man protection drop back team right now.

02:56We're, our offensive line has given us

03:01a lot of ways to move the pocket, extend the drop a little bit to find ways to

03:06maneuver in the pocket and buy me a little more time so

03:10we can push the ball down the field in those situations.

03:15So I think that's credit to our offensive line.

03:17First time you're back in so far since Super Bowl,

03:20what do you expect that to feel like, if anything, when you go back in there?

03:24I guess I hadn't really thought about it.

03:26I don't know, I hope it doesn't feel like anything.

03:30Just get ready for this one.

03:31Is there something, is there a feeling from that game,

03:34from that stadium that kind of sticks out that you need to talk about?

03:36Yeah, that they sucked.

03:37Okay, aside from that, is there any particular feeling,

03:42is there anything that you've thought about with the minutes on that stadium,

03:48not even going to that games or something like that?

03:50I don't think so.

03:51I mean, whenever you go to these big cities to play, it's always exciting.

03:56I think it's usually in a prime time slot.

04:00And when you play in New York, LA, Miami,

04:06those are always exciting opportunities for you.

04:08Is he on your radar at all, the triple crown, Jamar, and kind of how close he is?

04:14No, I know he's first in just about everything right now, so

04:17he's probably on pace to do whatever the triple crown is.

04:21What does that mean?

04:22Receiving yards, catches, and touchdowns.

04:26I know he's got a lot of touchdowns and a lot of yards and a lot of catches too,

04:31so he's probably on pace to do it.

04:35He was saying that you are a number first, like is he in your gear about to do that?

04:39No, he's not, but when you have a guy like that,

04:45if you're not finding ways to get him the ball,

04:49then he maybe isn't gonna let you know

04:56directly, but he'll let you know in his way for sure.

04:59What's his way?

05:01Depends, sometimes it's on the sidelines,

05:07sometimes it's an individual conversation in the locker room,

05:10sometimes it's through you guys.

05:12I know there's a lot of different ways that a receiver can tell you,

05:16hey, get me the ball.

05:17He was saying you guys, he was saying Thursday that you guys didn't talk at all.

05:24There wasn't much to say, we were playing well.

05:28When we're on the same page like that, it's always fun.

05:35Have you ever said that in those words, get me the epic ball?

05:39I'm not sure he said that directly to me, no, but maybe a glance tells me that.

05:46I mean, same conversation about Jamar, he told us a couple weeks ago that

05:51he doesn't even really have to watch what he feeds.

05:55He said he takes care of his body, but he said he's one of those people that can

05:58basically eat whatever he wants and be the freak he is on the field.

06:02Of all of the really good receivers that you played with in your career,

06:06is he the biggest freak in that way where he can not have to do the things that

06:13you and probably everybody else has to do but can go be the best receiver in the NFL?

06:19Yeah, I mean, he's definitely, it's very rare what he can do.

06:25I would say there's been, I'm not sure I've been around a ton of receivers that

06:29are super dialed on their diet, I would say.

06:33That might have to change in about five years if he wants to keep playing.

06:38But when you're 23, 24, eat what you want and go out and run 22 miles an hour and

06:45have 200 and however many yards he had,

06:47he'll continue to do it until he doesn't need to anymore.

06:51So he said, how many times have you said that in this conference?

06:54That might be the first one, sorry guys.
