Taiwan is playing South Korea on Friday night at the first of the WBSC Premier12 baseball games at the Taipei Dome. TaiwanPlus went down to see how fans and players are getting pumped for the match.

00:00Huge crowds are piling into the Taipei Dome for the WBSE Premier 12 Baseball Tournament.

00:06They're here tonight to watch Taiwan play against South Korea.

00:09It's an important night for baseball fans. The Premier 12 only takes place every 4 years.

00:30It features the 12 highest ranked national teams in the world.

00:34That includes Team Taiwan, ranked 5th this year and playing under the name Chinese Taipei.

00:39The squad will play 5 matches at the Dome.

00:42This year, Team Taiwan aims to secure a spot in the top 4 for the first time ever.

00:47To reach that goal, all eyes are on Ling Yuming, Taiwan's starting pitcher.

00:52Ling is known for his impressive fastball and his breaking pitches.

00:57The stadium is set to be at full capacity tonight.
