Taipei Exhibition Lets Baseball Fans Relieve Premier12 Championship Glory

A new exhibit is kicking off in Taipei, revealing to the public the national team's journey to the WBSC Premier12 championship.

00:04fans relive the country's journey to the WBSC Premier 12 Championship.

00:09Called Behind the Champion, it's held at the National Taiwan Museum next to what was

00:14originally the Taipei New Park Baseball Field.

00:16A day before the official opening of the exhibit, President Lai Ching-de visited it.

00:21I would like to take this rare opportunity to thank the National Taiwan Baseball Team

00:28once again for fighting for the country's greatest glory.

00:30I also hope that the people who come to see the exhibition can see the glory of the champions,

00:37see the difficulties of the champions, and see the hard work behind them.

00:43Around 50 items are on display here, including the champion trophy, which is said to weigh

00:48up to 12 kilograms.

00:50Gloves, balls, helmets, and even the bases Taiwan's players took from the stadium in

00:55Tokyo are also here for visitors to see.

01:36The exhibition will be open to the public from January 1 to March 2, giving Taiwan's

01:41baseball fans enough time to visit and celebrate the country's triumph.
