A triumphant Team Taiwan has returned after winning the U12 Asian Baseball Championship in Japan. They beat South Korea in the final match to take home the tournament trophy.

00:12At Songshan Airport in Taipei, their friends and relatives greet them with colorful wreaths

00:18The team beat South Korea in the final match.

00:20166-centimeter-tall Captain Zhou Zhenxuan said height was a major obstacle his team

00:26had to overcome.

00:27The Korean team's height is 170-180 centimeters, so I think we are very strong.

00:35You are not afraid of being taller than others?

00:37No.

00:38Stepping up to the challenge was pitcher Huang Liyuan.

00:42His winning pitch carried his team to victory, and earned him the Most Valuable Player award.

00:47Huang also thanked his teammates for how they played.

01:25After each game, I keep reminding them to enjoy the game.

01:31Now back home, Team Taiwan is basking in the glory of their victory.
