Greenwich has had a name change in honour of the new Wicked movie.

00:00Greenwich has had a name change in honour of the new Wicked movie.

00:04Paying homage to the Green Witch herself, Elphaba,

00:07the London Borough has temporarily changed its name to Grenwich.

00:10To celebrate some of the area's road signs have had a revamp and more themed

00:14signs have been put up making a Wicked themed trail of sorts.

00:18Some local businesses have also joined in on the theme including the area's

00:21Green Caff and the Greenwich Picture House.

00:24There is much more to discover at Greenwich Market which has been adorned

00:28with displays showing each of the movie's characters inside.

00:31South East London's spot is not the only area in the capital to have a Wicked

00:35makeover. Families and Liberty also have themed
