Greenwich has had a name change in honour of the new Wicked movie.

Greenwich has had a name change in honour of the new Wicked movie.

Paying homage to the Green Witch herself, Elphaba,

the London Borough has temporarily changed its name to Grenwich.

To celebrate some of the area's road signs have had a revamp and more themed

signs have been put up making a Wicked themed trail of sorts.

Some local businesses have also joined in on the theme including the area's

Green Caff and the Greenwich Picture House.

There is much more to discover at Greenwich Market which has been adorned

with displays showing each of the movie's characters inside.

South East London's spot is not the only area in the capital to have a Wicked

makeover. Families and Liberty also have themed
