00:00I've got a question for you. So it's Steve Strange famously said, I'm starting a cabaret night on Thursdays with a really great new band. They combine synthesised dance music for the future with vocals akin to that of Frank Sinatra. They're cool to bando ballet and they're going to be really big. What does that mean to you now?
00:17I think he was right. That's all it means to be honest. But listen, we lived in an era of great pretensions and that was one of them. So why not?
00:30What does the club mean to you? What does this exhibition mean to you?
00:33This is my growing up. This is my youth. This is the beginning of my life and it's just great to see it celebrated.
00:42Well, it's a terrible, terrible shame that people like Steve Strange and Stephen Leonard and some of the guys that were important in that time are missing today.
00:55Because hopefully they will be looking down and enjoying it as well. But it's a real shame that some of those guys are missing.
01:02Before you go and get moved on, I have put an Instagram story out asking my friends and all my readers what they would want to ask you.
01:11And all of them said, I know you died in EastEnders, but any chance of ever coming back?
01:15No, not at all. Not at all. No, listen, I had a great time here, but that's about it.
01:20Thank you so much. It was lovely to meet you.
