Should Sheffield City Council buy at-risk historic buildings?

00:05go to rotting ruin. You've got the old Sheffield Courthouse which they've let go to ruin,

00:10knocking old buildings down and building to me faceless steel and glass monstrosities.

00:17So yeah, places like that should be preserved. So much it could be utilised for that.

00:24What like? It could become a music place. Inside where I've seen pictures it looks fantastic to

00:30have as a music club. It means development, yeah, it means a bit of money spending but yeah,

00:35it'll bring more into Sheffield city centre. To be completely honest, I'm new to the area and I

00:44don't know too much about Sheffield council other than what I've read in the newspaper,

00:48probably the staff, and I think that you know what they're doing around town is great but I

00:53think heritage buildings, well I mean if you think about like the National Trust or the

00:59people who do like all the heritage buildings and can have like tours at castles and things,

01:03really it should belong to them and then they can they can do something with it,

01:08maybe I don't know turn into like a museum or just something for more culture.
