LPA develops into tropical depression, to be named ‘Ofel’ once it enters PAR

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the low-pressure area (LPA) monitored near the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) has developed into a tropical depression before dawn on Monday, Nov. 11.  The tropical depression formed just as Typhoon “Nika” (international name: Toraji) is expected to make landfall in Luzon on Monday morning. 00:00As far as the Nica Tornado, we are being watched by two tornadoes in the Pacific Ocean.

00:07First, the low-pressure area experienced a tropical depression.

00:13The distance from here to our land is 1,685 kilometers east of Visayas.

00:22The strong wind in the middle of it is 45 kilometers per hour

00:27and the wind speed is 55 kilometers per hour.

00:32It moved in the direction of West-Northwest

00:38or January-Pakanluran at a speed of 35 kilometers per hour.

00:43This tropical depression is a possibility to enter our Philippine Area of Responsibility this week.

00:52Meanwhile, the second tornado is very far from our country.

00:58It is a tropical storm with an international name, Mani.

01:02The distance from here to our country is 3,555 kilometers east of Central Luzon.

01:13The strong wind in the middle of it is 85 kilometers per hour.

01:19For now, it is very likely to enter our Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:26The next tornado after Nica is Ophel.
