LPA monitored outside PAR; 'amihan,' easterlies to bring rains over parts of the Philippines — PAGASA

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday, March 8, that a low pressure area (LPA) is currently being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), though it has a low chance of developing into a tropical depression.
