00:00Stories now with Joel Embiid, maybe soon, shortly, I should say, getting back on the court.
00:04We'll never know at this point, unless the Sixers keep extending the series.
00:08They're home tonight, taking on the Boston Celtics, Joe, this line overnight.
00:12Seven and a half's in the marketplace.
00:13Now we're seeing some outlets like FanDuel at six and a half.
00:16Low total, as expected, at 215 and a half.
00:19The Celtics got a wake-up call in game number two.
00:21The Sixers at home.
00:22Can the Sixers cover?
00:24Can the Sixers win?
00:25Or is it a Celtics blowout, Joe?
00:27Let's get a little spread line action here.
00:29What do you got?
00:30Well, I think you just got to be impressed.
00:32It's not a double-digit spread, right?
00:34I mean, that's the good news here, right?
00:37I mean, I guess the 76ers have earned a little bit of respect by winning game two there without Embiid.
00:44Now, they are hopeful Embiid makes it back for this game tonight.
00:48And if he does, well, then that's going to be interesting to see what happens, Donnie,
00:53with this seven, seven and a half that's in the market.
00:56And it feels like until we get confirmation with Embiid, is he in?
01:01Is he out?
01:01Is he not?
01:02What's happening?
01:02When is he coming back?
01:04The whole plan with Philadelphia was originally to get him back once they made it to Philadelphia.
01:09So, is this line already baked in with Embiid playing?
01:15Or is there still room to move here, Donnie?
01:18I think that's the biggest question of this game, is that is the seven and a half considering Embiid being
01:23back?
01:24Or does this go to five, four and a half, five if he's announced in?
01:29That's the big question, I think, to me.
01:31I think it's a wait and see game from a market perspective.
01:34But I'm going to be interested to see if this line moves if he's announced in.
01:38Seems like a hedge line there, Joe, right?
01:40You get that announced, whether it's in or out.
01:42That line's going to move a point or two each way.
01:44No doubt about it here.
01:45Let's go down to the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers.
01:48Rockets down 0-2, but back in their own building.
01:51Strong line right out of the gate.
01:53Nine and a half to eight and a half, depending on where you're shopping at.
01:56And look at that total, Joe, 1990s, hello, 2-0-6 and a half here.
02:01Feels like a last stand for those Rockets at home with Kevin Durant, LeBron James,
02:06still fighting basically by himself, but with a 2-0 lead.
02:09What's a nice spread line we can look at tonight between the Lakers and Rockets, Joe?
02:12Well, it's interesting.
02:13All of a sudden, we're seeing Reeves upgraded.
02:16Donchuk is out, but Reeves is now questionable.
02:19So will he be able to make it back for this game?
02:22And Durant, listen, we know Durant's got a knee issue, but I think the bigger issue here
02:28is that it is clear the Houston Rockets do not like one another.
02:32It's not even close, Donnie.
02:34I mean, we've seen it now.
02:36They look all discombobulated.
02:38There's finger-pointing all over the place.
02:41I can't imagine how many burner phones Durant's got working right now.
02:45Nobody seems to be able to figure it out.
02:47Yudoka can't put together a game plan which involves teams double-teaming Durant
02:53and somebody else making a bucket.
02:55It's just, it's over the top.
02:57But I'll say this.
02:58I mean, with such a low total and such a high spread,
03:02the Rockets got to score at least 100 points tonight, right, Donnie?
03:06I mean, because they have not yet in two games on the road.
03:08So maybe just the Rockets' team total might be the way to look because I don't trust them to win
03:15by margin in any game at this particular point.
03:19Could we see the Portland Trailblazers take a 2-1 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs?
03:24Find out tonight, 10.30 p.m. Eastern.
03:27The Spurs on the road to take on the Blazers.
03:29The Spurs still a slight favorite.
03:30Open up to around 1.5.
03:32Now we're seeing 2.5s in the marketplace.
03:33And a total of 2.20 and a half.
03:36Webb and Yama, concussion injury, concussion issues, I should say, at this point right now.
03:40Spurs on the road.
03:41Could the cheap Blazers, as I like to say, have a chance to take down this game number three
03:46and take a series lead?
03:47What's the spread line here, Joe?
03:50So let me see if I understand this, right?
03:51We are talking double-digit underdogs on the road, Portland.
03:57Now they're home at a pick-em price.
04:00So we're talking a 10-11 point move because Wemby's not playing and you're playing back
04:06in Portland, even though we have one team that won over 60 games, one team that was barely
04:12500.
04:13Like, please make the math make sense.
04:16None of it makes any sense.
04:17Number one, the Spurs have already beaten Portland twice this year without Wemby.
04:21They've actually beaten Portland the entire series except for one three or four-minute stretch
04:27in the fourth quarter of the last game, which let them get away with it.
04:31Now, all of a sudden, Wemby's not going to play, and we're talking this big a line move?
04:37None of it makes sense to me.
04:39Call me crazy.
04:4012-6 is what the Spurs went without Wemby on the court this year.
04:45Make that 13-6, Donnie.
04:47The Spurs, at this price, have to be bet.
