00:00A training was held regarding the proper management of the incidents,

00:04the formation of the command structure, and other authorities in Zamboanga, Cebucai.

00:09This is part of the preparation in case calamity strikes the province.

00:19Emergency Operation Command and Basic Incident Command System training was conducted

00:24in the province of Zamboanga, Cebucai,

00:26which aims to strengthen the province's ability to respond to incidents and calamities.

00:32According to Atty. Christian J. Miliana, Provincial Administrator,

00:36this initiative is the first step for the establishment of an emergency operation center in the next year.

00:42We intend to be the first province in Zamboanga Peninsula

00:46to establish a fully functional POC, hopefully by 2025.

00:52In the leadership of the Zamboanga-Cebucai Provincial Government,

00:55the Office of Civil Defense 9,

00:57the officers were taught the proper management of the incidents,

01:01from the formation of the command structure to effective coordination and communication.

01:06One of the important parts of the training is the proper management of people,

01:11equipment, and resources to ensure a fast and organized response.

01:16The importance of the unity of each agency was also given

01:20to ensure a clear and unified plan for each operation.

01:25As their governor, Anne Hofer is the regional peace and order council chairperson,

01:31which strengthens the province's ability to respond to calamities

01:35and implement safety initiatives in the region.
