00:13Magistrate Siti Zubaida Mahat ordered the two girls, Alia Zawa Salim and Putri Nuru
00:18Soheila Abdullah, both aged 18, Mohamed Azran Ghazali, 23, and Mohamed Adha Abdullah, 20,
00:26to serve the sentence from the date of their arrest.
00:29They were jointly charged under Section 363 of the Penal Code with kidnapping the child
00:34from her legal guardian in Bandar Bukit Tinggi at 3pm on October 8.
00:40According to the facts of the case, the four accused had taken the victim in a rented car
00:45to a house in Segambut, where she was left for four days before being sent home via an
00:50e-hailing service on October 12.
00:53In mitigation, their lawyer, Mohamed Saifullah Mohamed Azmi from the National Legal Aid Foundation
00:59said his clients are young offenders and requested the court to impose a good behaviour bond
01:04for the offence.
01:06Deputy Public Prosecutor Nurul Jana Ami objected to the good behaviour bond application as
01:12the case went viral and gained public attention.
01:15She said kidnapping is a serious offence and the victim was injured in the incident.
