00:00The Department of National Defense, or DND, and the Office of Civil Defense, or OCD, are monitoring the tropical storm Marseille.

00:08Yesterday, Defense Secretary and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Chairman Gilbert Chidoro Jr.

00:17spearheaded the meeting with other government officials.

00:20Necessary preparations are being implemented to ensure the safety of communities.

00:26Secretary Chidoro assures the national government will provide adequate support to regions and local government units.

00:33Meanwhile, the NDRRMC remained on heightened alert as Tropical Storm Marseille entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility, or PAR.
