00:00So, scoring since basically the 2018-19 season, so now we're looking up to probably, wow yeah,

00:16six years.

00:17They used to do it manually in the book and I don't know if you've ever seen an old score

00:20sheet but essentially it's quite, it's almost, I've seen people do it with essentially that

00:27long and with all the batters, all the bowlers and recording every single detail and some

00:31people have like seven or eight different biro colours, so like really, really full

00:34on and I thought I could never do that.

00:36But then when they introduced live scoring on the computer, I thought well, I can learn

00:39that.

00:40One of the great things I've always loved about community, any sport, whether it's cricket

00:49or anything is that, you know, people can be involved and you don't, you may not be

00:53good enough to play but you can still have a role at a club and that's what I've found

00:57is that, yeah, you can still be involved and like I said, through doing scoring for

01:02Ulverston and then that's led to doing scoring for the Great Northern Raiders and then, yeah,

01:06the last couple of years being on the Creep Test scoring panel, which has been wonderful,

01:09got to do a couple of, got to do a WBBL game at La Trobe.

01:12Oh wow.

01:13Yeah, the female, women's Hurricanes and the women's Melbourne Stars and, yeah, so it's

01:17just led to places I never thought it would go and I really enjoy doing the Great Northern

01:21Raiders as well for both the men and the women because you get to meet scorers from Hobart

01:26and you're just being part of that, part of that group where you're supporting the team

01:31off the field and, yeah, that growth and just wanting cricket to do well on the North and

01:35North West Coast, so, it's Tasmania, so yeah.
