00:13by HIQ Tyres and Auto Care has highlighted the extent of this issue, revealing that drivers

00:20in Bristol are disproportionately affected by road damage compared to other regions in

00:25the UK.

00:37Next is that bus lanes along a major road in South Bristol have been approved, but a

00:43controversial plan to ban a certain turn-in has been paused. The new bus lanes will run

00:49along the southern half of the A37 Wells Road and be in force for 12 hours a day.

00:56Bristol City Council also initially proposed banning a turn onto West Town Lane for drivers

01:02travelling up north along the Wells Road due to road safety fears and the potential for

01:08blocking traffic, but this proposal will not be immediately taken forward after a pushback

01:15by local residents.

01:29Finally, it's that a large part of the historic HQ of BBC Bristol has been put on the market.

01:38The 90-year-old site on White Ladies Road in Clifton has gone up for sale for an undisclosed

01:44price. The sale listing says it is suitable for a variety of uses, subject to planning,

01:52but the BBC says this is only a partial sale and that it intends to continue broadcasting

01:59from the site.
