00:47to first partial results released by the Central Election Commission.
00:53Earlier on Saturday, all parties had claimed victory after exit polls showed different
00:57winners, but the partial results show that the ruling party is in the lead by almost
01:0153 percent.
01:04It's still unclear who will form the next government, but if Georgian Dream wins a parliamentary
01:09majority, it will stoke fears about the country's bid for EU membership.
01:15The political landscape in Georgia is extremely polarized and as a result, the elections have
01:20been incredibly divisive.
01:23The pivotal parliamentary elections put Georgia at a crossroad between the EU and Russia,
01:28and many voters saw the elections as a make or break vote on the opportunity to join the

02:01media reported the sound of explosions around Iran's capital Tehran without immediately
02:07elaborating.
02:09Iranian state television later identified some of the blasts as coming from air defence systems
02:14without offering more details.
02:16Two Israeli officials said the strikes on Iran were not targeting nuclear or oil facilities.
02:22The attack, threatened for weeks by Israel, comes as the Middle East sits on the precipice
02:27of a regional war, more than a year after an initial attack by Hamas killed around 1,200
02:33Israelis.
02:34Since then, Israel has launched a devastating ground offensive in the Gaza Strip and an
02:38invasion of the neighbouring Lebanon, targeting militants long armed and aided by Tehran.
02:48At least one person was reportedly killed and five injured after a Russian drone hit
02:52a 25-storey residential building in Kiev.
02:56Emergency responders were dispatched to the site of the attack to fight a fire which broke

03:18was set up at the site.
03:22Ukraine's emergency services say the attack damaged several apartments in the building

03:43for over a month.

04:13the political agenda for the next five years.
04:16We have now all the necessary tools, all the necessary instruments in place, so let's make
04:23it happen, let's make it a reality and work towards this common goal.
04:30Enlargement has been delayed following Russia's invasion into Ukraine, which propelled European
04:34leaders to temporarily push the six from joining the bloc.
04:39During her visit to Kosovo earlier in the day, von der Leyen condemned Russia for their
04:44attempts at destabilizing democracies.
