00:00Clear skies over Tehran on Saturday morning. But as Iranians woke up to the

00:04news of the new Israeli strikes, some expressed fear of an escalating conflict.

00:11Unfortunately, now that war has erupted in the Middle East,

00:15we are afraid it will affect us too, that it will reach here as well.

00:19This is our fear. Why should we live without peace?

00:24If they attack, we, the workers, are the ones who will be crushed.

00:30But others say they're not worried, some dismissing the pre-dawn strikes as a minor incident.

00:39By strike, do you mean the shots and firecrackers last night,

00:42which didn't wake up anyone in Tehran? If this is Israel's power, then woe to them.

00:50I'm not afraid at all because it was a small attack.

00:53I feel it shows Israel is afraid. If they wanted to, they could have carried out a much larger

00:59attack. In Tel Aviv, there was also little sign of worry,

01:03with Israeli people going about their daily lives.

01:08We heard about the attack in the morning,

01:10but we stuck to our routine and went on our bike ride as we do every Saturday.

01:16There is chaos right now. Nothing that might happen will surprise me.

01:20But I refuse to live in fear.

01:23Some expressed support for the strike, which Israel said targeted facilities used to attack it.

01:29It was a fair and good attack. And you see, life in Tel Aviv is as usual here.

01:37Leaders across the Middle East have strongly condemned the attack,

01:40while the US said it was a defensive strike focused on military targets,

01:45but it joined other nations in calling for a de-escalation.
