Hartlepool pubs launch poppy glasses for Remembrance

Marston's pubs including The Nursery Inn in Hartlepool have joined forces with the Royal British Legion

00:00Okay Chanel, so can you tell us what the pub is doing this Remembrance?

00:05Yeah, so we'll be selling glasses that have joined with the British Royal Legion.

00:11The pint glasses will be selling for £2.50 and the half pint glasses will be selling for £2.00.

00:16All the profits from the glasses go to the British Royal Legion.

00:21And we'll be having a Remembrance Day quiz as well in the pub to try and raise some money.

00:28And how important do you think it is to support veterans?

00:31I think it's really important. They've done a lot for this country so we should just give back when they need help too.
