00:00as the city is getting developed,
00:02along with it, the railway connectivity work has started.
00:05That is, as the city is being built,
00:07the railway connectivity will also be built along with it.
00:11There are many good cultural and historical places,
00:16which will also be connected to this.
00:18There is Amar Lingeshwara Swamy Temple,
00:20Amravati Stupa, Dhyanabuddha Statue,
00:23Ondavalli Caves,
00:25and the many ports, Machilipatnam Port,
00:28Kakinada Port, Vizag Port,
00:30there will be connectivity for all of them.
00:32It is a big project.
00:34It will create 19 lakh human days employment.
00:36It will also save 6 crore kilograms of carbon dioxide.
00:41It is very environmentally sustainable.
00:43And that means it is like equivalent of planting 25 lakh trees.
00:48This is the importance of this project.
00:51This was approved by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji
00:56in the Cabinet today.
00:58And this is one of the long cherished dreams of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
01:03The location of the line is like this.
01:09If you look at the river Krishna,
01:12take river Krishna as the reference point for explaining.
01:18This is the river Krishna.
01:20If you see the green area,
01:23this is the area earmarked for developing Amravati Capital City.
01:29Across the river is a very nice Kondapalli Reserve Forest.
01:34So that way environmental as well as the urban planning
01:39matters are in a sense balanced very nicely in this entire project.
01:44Then the line which will be,
01:47and we actually did multiple combinations and permutations.
01:51We looked at many options and finally we selected this particular alignment
01:55in consultation with the state government.
01:58The line will be basically connecting Erupulam to Namburu.
02:05And the stations will be Pedapuram, Chenna Rao, Pelam,
02:10Kottumakkal, Paritala, Kondapalli, Vadamanu, Amravati, Thadikona and Koppavaram.
02:17There will be a multimodal logistics hub at Paritala.
02:22This just beyond the river, right?
02:25North of river.
02:27And I want you to understand how this will connect to all the five big cities.
02:36There you see Vijayawada, Vijayawada ke paas mein Amravati hai, right?
02:41Chennai connectivity directly towards this side.
02:45Kolkata towards Havra directly connectivity towards Hyderabad and Mumbai beyond connectivity via Guntur and via Kazipet also.
02:56Then via Kazipet it goes all the way to Nagpur and then it goes to Delhi.
03:00So in a sense all the big cities will get directly connected to Amravati.
03:05This is a very important project.
03:07And bridge which is about 3.2 kilometer long.
03:14This new bridge will be constructed on the river Krishna.
03:18So this is the project, very important project for growth of Andhra.
03:26As on today Vijayawada, Guntur is covered.
03:32It is going on the other side of the city.
03:36Now with this connectivity Amravati is connected to all other cities in the country, all capitals.
03:48Honorable Railway Minister Sri Ashwini Vaishnav garu, I am requesting you make it a iconic bridge, railway bridge.
03:59It will go a long way.
04:02And also in Andhra Pradesh so many projects are going on.
04:06Recently I had a review also.
04:08Nearly 70,000 crores worth of projects are going on, ongoing projects.
04:14And also Visakhapatnam railway zone, long pending issue.
04:19We are able to, you are able to sort it out.
04:22Even other railway stations, all these things, wherever there is, works are going on.
04:27We wanted to tell to the people how central government is doing all these works also.
04:38Even recently I have sent some more ROBs for your consideration.
04:44If you do all these things then it will go a big way.
04:48Except state government funding for matching grant for some of the projects that will work it out, I will talk to you.
04:56Really I am thanking you and also I am thanking Honorable Prime Minister for sanctioning this project.
