00:00The Office of the President issued Memorandum Circular No. 67

00:04declaring the suspension of work in government offices and classes

00:08in all levels on October 31 beginning 12 noon.

00:12The order aims to give government employees the full opportunity

00:16to observe All Saints Day and All Souls Day.

00:19However, this does not apply to government agencies

00:23whose functions are linked to delivery of basic and health services,

00:27disaster response or preparedness, and vital services.

00:31Private companies and offices are given the discretion

00:35to suspend work if they deem necessary.
