00:00The San Diegan Bayan conducted a groundbreaking for its new building, a multi-story office

00:05edifice that would have 13 floors and two levels of basement parking.

00:10The San Diegan Bayan building, too, will house all the seven divisions of the court and will

00:14take in nearly 600 employees and officers of the court.

00:18Courtrooms will be equipped with latest information, communication and technology equipment.

00:23Associate Justice Carl Miranda said it would help expedite the court's work in accordance

00:27with the directive of the Supreme Court to provide swift and fair justice.

00:32Chief Justice Alexander Gasmundo also said this will be a green building, expected to

00:37be completed in 2028.
