00:00I need to get to this Sunday night football game.

00:05We're going to put the quarterbacks on the afterburner right now.

00:07But news broke earlier today, Hassan Reddick looking to join the Jets again.

00:12How did this come to fruition and what can we expect out of Hassan Reddick now?

00:16It's really, Donny, it's really because of the change in agencies.

00:19Drew Rosenhaus, his new agent, is very aggressive.

00:22Talk to clubs who've dealt with Drew.

00:23He's a dealmaker.

00:24He has not gotten an extension done.

00:27They've renegotiated Reddick's $14.5 million.

00:30As you know, Donny, he lost a lot of that due to fines and missed game checks.

00:34So what they've done is, while you can't rescind the fines, you can make up for it by paying

00:39over the fines, paying over the money.

00:42And that contract, as I understand, has not been filed yet, but they have an agreement.

00:45So I look forward to talking about that with Pharrell & Sports Group coming this week.

00:50But I thought Drew did a good job to figure out a way where both sides are happy.

00:55Reddick, in a sense, is going to get his money back, but he's not going to make the

00:58kind of money he thought or should get or wanted to get.

01:01That didn't happen.

01:02And the Jets get a pass rusher.

01:03Don't forget, guys, they lost Jermaine Johnson, their star pass rusher.

01:07Very underrated player for the season to do that 200 killings many weeks ago.

01:11And they really need that pass rusher.

01:12Will McDonald's filling in the first round of Iowa State last season, but he's not Hassan

01:17Reddick.

01:18And Hassan Reddick should do really well in this scheme where they play that wide nine

01:22front where the ends are outside of tackles.

01:25That will fit Hassan Reddick very well.

01:26Now, the question is, when is he going to be ready?

01:29He's going to report tomorrow.

01:30They'll get him in practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday leading up to the next game.

01:34But they got to see what kind of shape he's in because don't forget, guys, as I'm told,

01:39he told the club he'd be there for training camp.

01:41He wasn't.

01:42He didn't do that.

01:43So they have no idea what kind of game shape he's in.

01:45Cap, let's stick in that game.

01:48They're going to be going up against the Pittsburgh Steelers and it won't be Justin Fields.

01:52It'll be, in fact, Russell Wilson seemed to have shocked many Pittsburgh fans.

02:22It's one thing, Joe, if they had a younger quarterback that they wanted to get in there.

02:27They have Russell Wilson turns 36 in November.

02:30And now I did say on sports before the season started around August, despite Fields having

02:34a good training camp, there was no debate.

02:37Justin Fields was not going to be the start.

02:39It's going to be Russell.

02:40Russell Wilson, if healthy.

02:42But Joe, he had that setback with a calf injury with that calf strain right before the season

02:46started.

02:47So this is unheard of.

02:48I've been in this business 27 years.

02:50It's very rare for a team to bench a winning quarterback.

02:54We can debate how good Fields has played.

02:55The last two starts were not as good.

02:57That's a fact.

02:58I get it.

02:59But the other thing is, guys, they need help at wide receiver.

03:02It's George Pickens and no one else.

03:04Roman Wilson, who they thought would start week one, he had a high ankle sprain, I'm

03:08told.

03:09That was that injury.

03:10The ankle injury was actually a high ankle sprain.

03:11Now, unfortunately, now it's a hamstring injury.

03:13So guys, they got to do something receiver.

03:16And I know they're on the trade market anyway.

03:18Remember, they tried to get Brainerd and IU.

03:19If they're looking for a receiver, they're one of many teams right now looking for a

03:22wide receiver as we get closer to that trade deadline of November 5th.
