00:00Hi I'm Theo with Manchester World and I'm about to head down onto the streets of Manchester
00:03because bonfire night is near, fireworks are going to be set off and we want to hear from
00:08pet and dog owners about how they'll react when the fireworks are being set off.
00:12So I've had dogs that don't mind them, will go out and watch them and I've had dogs that
00:16will, that need like those things that you wrap them in so they're like the blankets
00:21to stop them from being scared.
00:22My sister has a dog and her dog's scared stiff so obviously she takes the dog away, things
00:27like that.
00:28She has a lodge up in the lake so she goes to a quiet zone but for him he's fine so I
00:32can take him out.
00:33A bit of both because there is a lot of pets around and a lot of them are scared of it
00:38so maybe you should give a warning or just make sure you're there with your pets when
00:42the fireworks are going off.
00:43In a way I think it's kind of avoidable, I know someone that's got a little Jack Russell
00:47who is terrified of fireworks and they go away to the Peak District because they live
00:50in an area where there's a lot of fireworks around this time of year so they just book
00:54a week away somewhere else or just stay in a cottage away from all of the annoyance.
