00:00My next stop is the Two Oceans Aquarium.
00:06We're going to be meeting some scientists that work here,
00:10and the main thing I'm excited about is to see some turtles.
00:14Welcome to the aquarium.
00:17It's so nice that you could join us today.
00:19The Two Oceans Aquarium does a lot to save turtles
00:22and release them back into the wild.
00:25Oh my gosh.
00:27An aquarium is a great place to learn about all these awesome fish.
00:32I love how the stingrays have like a smile.
00:36Did you know that many species of turtles eat jellyfish?
00:40Plastic packets in the ocean look exactly like jellyfish,
00:44so often the turtles eat the plastic and they can die.
00:50This is turtle quarantine, only for very important people like us.
00:55You're going to love and help the turtles.
00:57So when turtles are under recovery and getting better,
01:00we move them out here.
01:02They get some nice sunlight and they get lots of love.
01:07So how do the turtles end up here?
01:10So every turtle's got a different story.
01:13All of these turtles washed up on the beach,
01:15All of these turtles washed up on the beach,
01:17so either they're very cold, very hungry,
01:21or they've got injuries.
01:23So they love a good back scratch.
01:25So let's see if we can wake them up and whether they'll come for a little bit of a scratch.
01:30Come boy.
01:32The turtles have learned that they can come for a back scratch
01:36when Miss Mareika calls them.
01:38Give me a nice little back scratch.
01:40Can you believe a turtle can live up to 80 years?
01:44These little babies arrived three days ago.
01:48Hi little guy.
01:52These little guys are so cute.
01:54I'm glad they've been rescued.
01:56This is another amazing creature I've learned about in the ocean.
02:01And if we don't take care of the ocean, the ocean can't take care of us.
02:07And there's a lot I can do and there's a lot you can do.
02:12Remember, there are three things that you can do to protect our ocean.
02:16Reduce, reuse and recycle.
