00:00We're going to head in onto this reef here and do some snorkeling.
00:05It's a fully marine protected zone, this.
00:08And so, although you can't see a lot on the surface, down below the surface there's a
00:11huge amount of fish life.
00:12This is going to be so much fun.
00:13Let's go and do it.
00:14Let's go and do it.
00:44Let's go.
01:01What did you think of that snorkel, Brooke?
01:03It was incredible.
01:04Thank you.
01:05I had no idea there was so much life down there.
01:07Yeah.
01:08Absolutely amazing.
01:09I mean, one of the things about the Maputo Bay and the peninsula that we're on is three
01:12rivers come into the bay, and those all bring nutrients.
01:16And of course, that nutrient-rich environment is what creates those large numbers of fish.
01:20Wow.
01:21I remember almost seeing all of these fish.
01:24Yeah.
01:25So, we had those big schools of trevally.
01:26Yep.
01:27There were like 5,000 of those things.
01:30There were a lot.
01:31There were a lot.
01:33How lucky were we to see so many fish today?
01:35Oh, it was so amazing.
01:36Yeah.
01:37One of the key things, if we want to keep conserving the oceans, is to protect those
01:40areas.
01:41I'm so excited to see more of the life on this incredible coastline.
