An announcement on the direction of the Progressive Wage Policy (PWP) pilot project will be made soon, says  Deputy Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad.  He said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is expected to make the announcement soon but did not elaborate. 00:22Since there are sectors that are labour-intensive, capital-intensive, with permits, the salary

00:28of Senanjung is not the same, the salary of Sabah-Sarawak is also not the same, and the

00:32salaries are not the same.

00:34That is the reality of the labour market in the country.

00:37So my question is, what is the mechanism on the government's side to create a form of

00:44diversity and balance, so that there is no issue of salary gap, which I refer to in the

00:51document on the basis of this progressive salary, so that there is no issue of unbalanced

00:57salary, and there is no issue of large differences between sectors and regions in the country's

01:02economy.
