A wooden cross erected in memory of explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton more than a century ago has been unveiled in its new home after a near-8,000 mile journey from Antarctica.  Alexandra Shackleton, granddaughter of Sir Ernest Shackleton at the unveiling of the Hope Cross. Toast was by David Henry, Chair of Dundee Heritage Trust.

00:05In 2015, I was down on the ice going to the South Pole.

00:11And every night in our wee tent, which we shivered in our bags, we'd get a wee drama.

00:18And it was Shackleton's whisky. And guess what the toast was?

00:23It was Shackleton.

00:25I'm going to ask you to raise your glasses at the moment.

00:29If you've got one, just shout it.

00:32Alright?

00:34Toast is Shackleton.

00:42There we are. Now, are we going to do this together?

00:48One, two, three.

00:51Oooh!

00:54That's good.
