00:16Guardians and should win this series but we understand that you have an ace on

00:21that staff here for the New York Yankees that's one Cy Young Awards his name is

00:25Garrett Cole but he can't pitch all seven games if you need it here Ben

00:28you're going to need other performers to step up which includes Carlos Rodon

00:32and a stellar 0-1 record in the playoffs and a 9.82 ERA to try to jump

00:38start you in game number one here's the issue if you're the Guardians you got

00:41Alex Cabo in the man it's not as if you have a bona fide ace that's gonna be

00:44able to say we're actually going to take advantage of this game but there are

00:48some ways that you can beat the Yankees but I just don't think it's gonna come

00:51from a Guardians perspective the same way I didn't think it was going to come

00:53from the Kansas City Royals this should be a clean run for the Yankees to win

00:57this pennant and get to the World Series even though they are the decided

01:00favorite minus 205 price to win the series I do think that price is valid

01:04and it is solid and I'm not looking at the underdog Guardians to take down the

01:08Yanks but tonight you might see a little bit more fireworks than maybe you would

01:12see because you usually don't throw a kitchen sink bullpen game in game number

01:15one Rodon has a tendency to get a hit there's some right-handed batters and

01:19that lineup for the Guardians that could be able to do damage at Yankee Stadium

01:22but a series long now it's gonna be the Yanks for me minus 162 still a heavy

01:28favorite tonight inside Yankee Stadium for Rodon and the Yanks to win game

01:33number one DRS we did the faith the public poll on Friday asking the public

01:39who would win the decisive winner take all game fives in both the NLDS between

01:44San Diego and LA and between Cleveland and Detroit the Guardians despite being

01:50at home in the land we're a home underdog against Tarek scuba enter Lane

01:55Thomas maybe one of the under-the-radar trade deadline acquisitions being dealt

02:00from the Nationals he was huge in the ALDS for Cleveland to earn this spot in

02:06the LCS the Guardians trying to make history for the central divisions no

02:13team from either the NL or AL central has reached the World Series since 2016

02:19where I'm pretty sure but let me just double-check here that team in 2016 to

02:25get to the World Series was of course in fact the Guardians as they knocked off

02:30or they lost to the Cubs excuse me in that incredibly historic and significant

02:35game seven so a lot at stake here in this series the RS let's talk big

02:42picture right because with a favorable path and this is that for the Yankees a

02:48lot of pressure is riding on New York and its captain and its superstar in

02:54Aaron judge who was okay in game four in that matchup in the LDS against the

03:01Royals but has not been great here in October and despite all of that he is

03:06the favorite to win the ALCS MVP award at plus 320 but just a half-dollar in

03:11front of Juan Soto yeah no it makes some sense here because you're expecting him

03:15hopefully to wake up but he really hasn't had a great postseason run in his

03:19career but maybe this is the series because you're not going up against

03:22elite frontline starting pitching for the Cleveland Guardians and maybe

03:26there's a chance that you can start to do some damage but it does start in game

03:29number one and you're right and that closeout game finally getting a base

03:31knock here all right let's start to see those doubles and those home runs and

03:35those RBI start to come through but it's right a heavy favorite for the New York

03:38Yankees in the series you're gonna look to their best two ballplayers to be those

03:42MVPs that's Juan Soto and it's Aaron judge and I do agree that he should be

03:45up top because the chances for the two run in a three run home run probably

03:50coming for Aaron judge cuz why Juan Soto is setting the table by drawing walks

03:54and just getting old base
