A family have created a Scare Maze complete with live actors, raising money for charity as they go. Its all at Sandwell Valley farm in West Bromwich. We join on the childrens event, before the actors go into hardcore scare mode ready for the adults.

00:06You've got some unusual guests down at the minute Sharon, fair to say.

00:09Well, in the spirit of Halloween, we like to invite everybody to come down to Sandwell Valley.

00:16So Terry, you're kind of the creator of this crazy scary maze aren't you?

00:22I am, yes.

00:23Lots of people involved though, we were just having a little chat off camera.

00:27But overall, what do we say to what, how many?

00:30Around 26.

00:31That's a good number isn't it?

00:32And it's all for charity?

00:33All for charity, we all work for free.

00:35Which charities are you working for?

00:37So this year we're doing Breaking Bread, Food Banking Wensbury and The Good Shepherd, they're

00:42helping homelessness and also provide food as well if we have to.

00:47Fantastic charities.

00:48So what can people expect from the scare maze?

00:50You've got two versions it's fair to say, like a child friendly version.

00:54We have.

00:55Yeah.

00:56It's a bit of an alternative child friendly version, but the kids love it, they really

01:01They can come down for an hour, they can go and find the clowns, they can win some treats.

01:05But there is some cheeky, well maybe cheeky tricks waiting for them as well.

01:09Yeah, yeah.

01:10And then we've got the adult versions a bit later on.

01:13So children's versions start at 4 o'clock?

01:15Yes, 4 till 5.

01:16Fridays, Saturdays?

01:17No, just Saturdays.

01:18Saturdays, yeah.

01:19And then the adult versions?

01:20The adult version is Fridays and Saturdays 6 or 9.

01:24Got ya.

01:25So what can people expect then?

01:26Is it literally, is it a maze or is it a walk around the farm, how does it work?

01:29No, it's more of a maze.

01:30Yeah.

01:31We've built a maze.

01:32Yeah.

01:33Up here at Selma Valley.

01:35The Cardinals have.

01:36So visitors will expect live actors, props, dark rooms, lots of surprises.

01:45I mean you've got 10 actors just on this first session that we're having today.

01:50So that's proper full on isn't it?

01:55Have you had a wonder round Sharon?

01:57I had a wonder round when they were building the scenes.

02:01I will happily admit that I am just a little too scared to actually go through a live version.

03:26Yeah, it's really funny. We do it every year for a charity.
