01:56that employees aged 15 to 24

03:19I allocate around 40-50% of my monthly income

03:27I spend 30% of my monthly income on food

03:30and the rest for other needs such as skincare, vacation, and so on

03:34For now, I haven't started to invest

03:36because I still prioritize my daily necessities

03:43The majority of Gen Z in Indonesia spend their income on basic necessities

03:48leaving only a little for health, self-development, and recreation

03:58the average income of Indonesia in March 2022

04:02is 1.27 million per capita per month

04:07From that amount, 52.6% is allocated for food

04:13while the rest is allocated for non-foods

04:17such as housing, education, and health

04:22From the investment side

04:24based on Indonesia Gen Z Report 2024 survey

04:2737% of Gen Z has started to invest

04:31while 31% of Gen Z has not started to invest at all

04:37and the other 11% is not sure

04:40whether investing is the best choice for them

04:44So, how important is investing for Gen Z?

04:53because Gen Z is the first generation to get to know the job market

05:00Investing for Gen Z is a typical investment

05:03based on their character

05:05which is simple

05:07and the income is relatively low

05:12or based on the standard income criteria in a certain area

05:17If you ask about the product

05:19then all the financial products in Indonesia

05:23are in the range of Gen Z

05:29Based on the demographic and economic development of Gen Z in Indonesia

05:33we can conclude that although their number is decreasing

05:37their influence in various aspects of life is getting stronger

05:44With more and more Gen Z start to invest

05:47and understand the importance of financial management

05:50their chance to achieve financial stability in the future is getting wider

05:57Gen Z's role will not only shape Indonesia's future
