The West Indies crushed Bangladesh by eight wickets to top Group B at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in the UAE.

Karishma Ramharack took 4 for 17 as the Bangladeshis were restricted to 103 for 8.

In reply, the West Indies got to 104 for 2 in just 12.5 overs, with 34 from skipper Hayley Matthews.

00:00West Indies won the toss and put Bangladesh into bat in the evermen's T20 World Cup Group B match in Sharjah.
00:08The first wicket fell with a score on 18, with Karishma Ramharak striking.
00:13Ramharak then castled Dilara Akhtar for 19, making it 33 for 2.
00:19Captain Nigar Sultana Jyoti was the key batter for the ladies in green, getting 39.
00:24Afi Fletcher picked up 2 wickets in one over and the Asians were in a pickle.
00:32But Ramharak was the best of the lot with 4 for 17 from her 4 overs.
00:40Captain Hayley Matthews bowled well and also took a wicket in the final over.

00:56When the Windies responded, Matthews and Stefani Taylor opened the innings with the Jamaicans scoring the first boundary.

01:29Taylor and new batter Shemaine Campbell would then put on a partnership of 21.

01:44Campbell was stumped for 21, giving Naheeda Akhtar the scalp.
