00:10which has a release date of July 17, 2026. Like with Oppenheimer, Nolan will once again
00:16write the script and produce, alongside producing partner and wife Emma Thomas.
00:20The film will be Damon's third movie with Nolan, as he also appeared in 2023's Oppenheimer and
00:252014's Interstellar. The news comes amid speculation as to where and when Nolan would
00:30make his next feature. He publicly split with longtime home Warner Bros. in late 2020, amid
00:35its controversial Project Popcorn initiative, but has expressed that he's open to doing business
00:40with the studio again. While Oppenheimer was acquired by Universal in a highly controlled
00:44auction setting, this new project went straight to the studio, according to sources. Universal
00:50As for Oppenheimer, the movie grossed $975 million globally, making it Nolan's third
00:56biggest film at the global box office behind Batman movies The Dark Knight Rises and The Dark
