00:17be banned from driving. Well, this is a scam. One way to notice that it is indeed a scam
00:23is the fact that the DVSA do not actually deal with fines. You might also spot some
00:28spelling mistakes and incorrect punctuation in this text as well. Now, if you do receive
00:34a text like this one, do not provide the scammer with any personal information. You don't need
00:38to contact the DVSA, but it is worth contacting the National Cyber Security Centre. An RAC
00:45spokesperson has said that this new text message is the latest in a series of scams to catch
00:50out drivers by tricking motorists into paying for a fine for an offence they did not commit.
00:56But it seems like scam texts aren't the only parking fine scam targeting UK drivers at
01:01the moment.
