Morrisons is launching a search for up to 3,000 extra staff to work in stores, food manufacturing sites, and logistics operations nationwide to meet increased demand during the Christmas period.

00:06The Bradford-based supermarket chain Morrisons is hiring up to 3,000 extra staff to work

00:14in its stores, food manufacturing and logistics operations as it prepares for Christmas.

00:21The wide range of roles include customer assistance, home delivery drivers and manufacturing and

00:25warehouse operatives and offer a range of flexible working patterns.

00:30In previous years, many of the temporary staff have gone on to find permanent jobs within

00:34Morrisons. All new staff will benefit from a 15% staff

00:39discount card as well as a 10% discount card for a friend or family member.

00:45So an update this morning from Morrisons, the Bradford-based supermarket chain is hiring

00:49up to 3,000 extra staff as it prepares for the festive season.
