Whole Foods’ CEO wants employees to look on the brightside with new RTO mandate

Whole Foods CEO Jason Buechel wants employees to feel incentivized rather than bludgeoned into coming to the office every day.

00:11But Whole Foods CEO Jason Buechel wants workers to see the positive when it comes to these new rules.

00:16In a leaked recording of an all-hands meeting obtained by Fortune,

00:19Buechel said he and his leadership team fielded 1,200 questions from employees.

00:24He wants employees hyped up about bringing back the culture

00:27and in-office interactions that happened prior to remote working.

00:31He's also launching an office experience task force of employees

00:34who will brainstorm ideas to make the transition back to the office less painful.

00:39But the responsibility of figuring out how this balancing act will work will fall to individual managers, Buechel said.
