00:14I'm here to tell you more about Alex Taylor, the protagonist of A Quiet Place The Road

00:18Ahead.

00:19Our story expands on the personal circumstances and family ties of Alex Taylor, a young college

00:24student, in the same way that the A Quiet Place movies do, through a series of flashbacks

00:29that are interspersed throughout the present-day post-apocalypse.

00:33Alex is skilled in engineering and is a student at the local music college, and has shown

00:42the ability to combine her passion and education together.

00:50She also has a boyfriend, named Martin, and like all relationships, they've had their

00:55ups and downs, but ultimately they are deeply in love.

01:08Alex's mother died prior to the event of Day One, and since then she has maintained

01:12a strong connection with her father, Kenneth, as well as with Martin's parents, Robert

01:24and Laura.

01:32And that brings us to one of the difficult circumstances that Alex must deal with in

01:37the new, silent, post-apocalyptic world.

01:40Her asthma.

01:41She has dealt with it throughout her life, but in a world where deadly creatures pounce

01:46upon hearing a sound, having a flare-up could be the end for her.

01:52This isn't the only circumstance that endangers Alex in the present day, as early on in our

01:57story she also discovers that she is pregnant with Martin's child.

02:04Whether through flashbacks, notes or quiet interactions, our aim is to tell a robust

02:10and unique story that dives into the thoughts, emotions and relationships of an individual

02:15and their family, as they face the same challenges of those in the A Quiet Place movie franchise,

02:21a world where you must be silent to survive.

02:25You will see what happened on Day One that set the trajectory of Alex Taylor's survival

02:29story and you will experience what is going on in the current state of the apocalypse

02:33over 100 days in, when you get your hands on A Quiet Place the road ahead, later this year.
