00:05escape its internal crisis, the Israeli occupying forces implicate others in their internal
00:13crises and distract from the failed war against the Palestinian people.
00:19Hence they have chosen to drag the region into a serious escalation while benefiting
00:23from the immunity, impunity, and unlimited support provided by certain countries, in
00:28particular the U.S. In a clear case of hypocrisy and double standards, Israeli forces have
00:32scaled up their attacks on countries in the region, including my country Syria, targeting
00:37vital civilian facilities, residential buildings, and even diplomatic premises, resulting in
00:42the death of dozens of civilians, significant material damage, and hindering the delivery
00:48of humanitarian aid to Syrians.
00:51On the 27th of July, 2024, Israeli occupying forces committed another heinous crime against
01:00our people in the occupied Syrian Golan when they targeted the Syrian town of Majdal Shams,
01:07claiming the lives of 12 Syrian children.
01:12The criminal Israeli forces went even further, blaming others for this tragedy and exploiting
01:16the death of innocent Syrians for propaganda purposes.
01:20The open Israeli aggression has also extended to our brotherly Lebanon.
01:24Two weeks ago, the Israeli occupation authorities committed an unprecedented crime against the
01:29Lebanese by using the means of communication as a tool to kill unarmed civilians in a collective
01:37manner.
01:38A few days ago, the Israeli occupation authorities targeted the southern suburb of Beirut with
01:45a treacherous and cowardly aggression, destroying an entire residential block using tons of
01:51explosive bombs to assassinate Hezbollah Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrullah, who for more
01:57than three decades led an honorable Lebanese national resistance against the Israeli occupation.
02:04This large-scale Israeli aggression, which is unfettered by any restrictions and limitations,
02:11is pushing the region to the brink of a dangerous escalation and confrontation whose consequences
02:17cannot be predicted and causing disastrous effects on peace and security not only in
02:23our region but also beyond it.
