00:00Signed by the National Security Council, a new Philippine Coast Guard vessel is patrolling the West Philippine Sea.

00:10In an interview with NSC Spokesperson, Assistant Director-General Jonathan Malaya,

00:17the Philippines will not leave the protection of our territories.

00:22Repositioning was carried out after the return of BRP Teresa Magbanoa,

00:30who was stationed in Escondaciol for five months.

00:34The official added that NSC Advisor Eduardo Año is eager for a relief ship to be replaced by BRP Teresa Magbanoa.

00:47He will patrol the Coast Guard vessel against possible reclamation and other illegal activities.

00:56The official has not given any further details as he is also in touch with the Operational Security.
