00:00All right, let's head over to Illinois as we close it out, Pat, and discuss some of

00:09these, again, compliance rules, the state, as you said, bumping up tax rates, also bumping

00:14up their protection for consumers in terms of making sure that the advertising is portrayed

00:22in the right way.

00:23I guess that's the best way I can put it.

00:25Yeah.

00:26That's a great point.

00:27Illinois has been pretty active in their tweaks of their sports betting industry.

00:31Of course, the tax rates, they had some interesting in-person registration requirements when they

00:36first opened, and now it's all mobile, of course.

00:38But yeah, now they're upping their advertising regulations.

00:42They really are limiting, they prohibit the use of free and free bet and free of risk

00:47wagering, the likes, which we've seen more and more states doing, and the American Gaming

00:51Association putting in their code of advertising.

00:55You're really seeing less and less and less, if any, of those kind of advertisements offering

01:02free whatevers.

01:04They also are trying to cut down on anything kind of targeting college age or underage

01:10people, so nothing on college campuses or college media.

01:15They said no sports book ads in, say, the campus newspaper, things like that.

01:20Yeah, that's something we've seen more and more over the last year.

01:24I remember, I think, what, two years ago, we had the Michigan State, my Spartans partnering

01:29with Caesars, and Colorado partnering with PointsBet, and of course, those all kind of

01:33fell apart because of pushback in the industry and saying, these are iffy around these underage

01:39populations.

01:40So, more and more states just saying, let's get these advertising regulations in place,

01:45make sure everything's up and increasing our responsible gambling awareness and practices

01:52versus just kind of free for all.
