00:06Now I know my son goes to the Mountain West, he goes to San Diego State, but they just

00:11left for the Pac-12.

00:14So let's get real here.

00:16No one ever cared about the Mountain West until they started winning in basketball.

00:22They've never won in football, anything.

00:25So they all started playing really good basketball, including, you know, these New Mexicos at

00:30the Pit and Albuquerque and New Mexico State's been good and Las Cruces, et cetera, I could

00:36go on and on.

00:37Alfred's got a good team in Tahoe.

00:39My point is, is that it should be the Pac-12.

00:42Get rid of the Mountain West and just focus on building the Pac-12 back to a power.

00:49The worst thing that ever happened to college sports, Mike, was dismantling the Pac-12.

00:54Name one person that makes sense of that.

00:58That is the most ridiculous thing I ever saw, that they broke up like high school sweethearts.

01:05After all that tradition, the West Coast late night football and basketball games are the

01:10greatest thing.

01:11Do you remember Bill Walton, Big Red used to say, it's a conference of champions.

01:16It is.

01:18And that is beyond me.

01:20And I honestly screw UCLA and USC and going to the Big Ten and Cal and Stanford belong

01:26in the ACC about as much as, uh, you know, well, that's where, right.

01:32And that's, that's the two, like, look, USC and UCLA started all this, obviously.

01:40And Oregon and Washington hitched their wagon to them.

01:43That caused Cal and Stanford to do what they did.

01:46Cal and Stanford are going to, they belong in whatever this new Pac-12 is becoming.

01:52And look, I just don't think they want these teams, guy.

01:54Like, I don't blame them.

01:55Like San Jose State, Hawaii, Utah State, Wyoming, and they don't, they don't want these teams.

02:02Now they're going to be forced, probably take UNLV and Nevada, but they don't want these teams.

02:06What is wrong with San Jose State?

02:08They gave, they gave, uh, Washington State, bitch, the other night in Pullman.

02:13That was the best game in college football this year, 54, 52.

02:17And you're telling me they suck.

02:18They're also a program on the up.

02:21They don't get quite the athletes that they get in these other, you know, Pac-12 schools.

02:26And I think that, you know, frankly, they deserve a shot.

02:29I mean, they go out and give everyone a game.

02:31They were three and O and you want to talk about, they suck.

02:35Then you know, nothing about college football, no team.

02:37You know what that is?

02:39You just don't know anything about them.

02:40So they just write them off.

02:41I don't watch Fresno and San Jose State games.

02:45I'm in bed by then.

02:46I've never watched them in my life, but they're building something.

02:50And you have to respect that.

02:52You do have to respect that.
